Cliff is a Restructuring Specialist with extensive experience in Australia and Asia. He has been working in corporate restructuring for over 22 years. For much of that time he was a Partner with Ernst & Young, one of the Big 4 Accounting firms, in the Corporate Restructuring and Corporate Finance divisions.

- Extensive experience in strategic and financial reviews of organisations for directors, lenders, shareholders, investors and other stakeholders.
- Proven success in turnaround, financial distress and change environments including assessing and advising businesses and projects of varying size and complexity.

- Over 26 years of professional, consulting and accounting experience.
- From 2006 to 2007 Founder and CEO of Debt Free Direct Australia, which provided a range of solutions to over-indebted consumers.
- From 1998 to 2005, the Lead Partner of Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory Services (or “Corporate Finance”) practice in Indonesia and a Partner of Ernst & Young Australia in the Corporate Restructuring and Corporate Finance divisions from 1995 until 2003.
- Extensive experience in managing large restructurings, acquisitions, disposals and corporate reviews. Led numerous individual assignments with international teams of over 50 professionals.
- Lead partner and adviser on some of Australia’s largest corporate restructurings.
- Eight years corporate (non-consulting) experience as a financial accountant for Unisys and Elcom NSW.

Cliff has an extensive list of large scale Restructuring, Valuation, Due Diligence, Investigating Accountant and Expert Witness. He has conducted over 42 assignments each with debts exceeding USD100million including twenty listed companies. The assignments required teams of between two and eighty professional staff. The industries covered have included textiles, finance, tourism, manufacturing, agricultural and property. The assignments resulted in the restructuring of debts exceeding USD8 billion.
Cliff is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, a Chartered Accountant, Registered Company Liquidator and a member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association of Australia.
